St. Petersburg, Florida – (August 16, 2012) – Just five months into the re-launch of its Internet and mobile banking service offerings, America’s Christian Credit Union and its members are already impressed with the results. The Glendora, Calif.-based credit union ($250 million assets, 30,500 members) converted in February 2012 to the newest version of PSCU’s electronic banking platform, which is powered by Q2ebanking. Over 6,000 members have enrolled as users on the new platform.
“America’s Christian’s experience with our online and mobile banking solutions proves that the healthiest relationships between a CUSO and its Member-Owners are founded on a mutual commitment to the well-being of the members,” said Fredda McDonald, PSCU EVP, Credit Union Experience. “PSCU and America’s Christian have a strong and sturdy partnership, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration on innovative services that truly enrich members’ lives.”
Concurrent with the Internet banking launch, the credit union rolled out PSCU’s mobile banking solution to members. PSCU’s mBanking application leverages a fully-hosted mobile solution and supports the “triple play” of mobile functionality – text (SMS), mobile Web browser (WAP) and device-specific apps for iPhone and Android smartphones.
“Our members quickly engaged the new banking services and we’re very pleased with the adoption rates for both solutions,” said Scott DePrat, America’s Christian’s E-Services Marketing Manager. “The PSCU implementation team worked hand-in-hand with us to ensure a smooth, issue-free migration from our previous system. The application is easy for our members to use and supports all the features and functionality they expect in their online and mobile banking experience.”
America’s Christian elected to adopt PSCU’s Internet and mobile banking platforms to more effectively engage with and serve a member base that increasingly demands anytime, anywhere interactions with their credit union accounts.
Established in 1977, PSCU (St. Petersburg, Fla.) is the nation's leading credit union service organization (CUSO) and serves more than 1,500 financial institutions nationwide. As a non-profit cooperative, the company is owned by more than 680 member credit unions representing 16 million credit, debit, prepaid, online bill payment, mobile and electronic banking accounts. Comprehensive 24/7/365 member support is delivered through four Contact Centers located throughout the United States that handle more than 18 million inquiries a year.
PSCU’s MōPRO initiative marries emerging technologies with proven strategies and empowers the CUSO to lead the industry in developing innovative payments solutions.
