Chuck Fagan leads PSCU as its President & CEO, driving digitization of the cooperative to enable credit union growth, and to provide an unparalleled member experience through service delivery, best-in-class payments solutions, and security of member data.
Under Fagan’s leadership, PSCU’s Owner credit unions have benefitted from revenue growth to nearly $500 million annually. Fagan continues to address the movement to mobile and has modernized resources to create a culture empowered by the new digital landscape. He championed the cooperative’s redefining of digital banking for credit unions through the launch of Lumin Digital, a cloud-based digital banking platform. Fagan is credited with strengthening industry partnerships and through the acquisition of a collections company, expanding the depth of operations for PSCU.
Fagan’s career in the credit union industry spans over three decades, beginning at Virginia Credit Union managing card services. In 1997, Fagan joined PSCU, and as EVP, Chief Sales Officer notably helped pioneer the company’s efforts in bringing emerging payments technologies to credit unions. From 2013 to 2015, Fagan was President & CEO of Credit Union Executive Society (CUES), a membership association dedicated to educating and developing credit union executives and emerging leaders.
Fagan serves on the Board of Directors for CULedger and America’s Credit Union Museum. He represents the industry as an active member both Visa’s Credit Union Roundtable and Community Financial Institution Advisory Group. Fagan holds a BSBA in finance from Longwood University in Farmville, Va.
