Our Preparedness
Over 1,300 financial institutions depend on us to provide uninterrupted service to their members —24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Whether the threat of business interruption originates from a power outage, hurricane, tornado, flood, fire or other natural disaster, our primary objective is to sustain critical support operations for you and your members.
Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) summary provides a detailed road map for navigating a potentially disabling crisis. This plan provides a step-by-step process for resuming critical business functions at designated backup sites. Our BCP Team’s experience and our detailed preparations ensure that your credit union can continue to efficiently serve its members.
We offer our member credit unions:
- Geographically dispersed service and contact centers. Our centers are located in St. Petersburg, Phoenix, and Detroit, and are designed to operate continuously in the case of a service disruption at any facility.
- Mirrored personnel. Staff members serve as backups for each other in the event a disruption occurs. Travel teams are also identified and available to provide timely backup to the affected center.
- Data backup and recovery systems. Vital functions like Contact Center, Web Applications, Settlement, Fraud, Member Services, Networks and Telecommunications all have detailed BCP planning in place, along with the necessary recovery systems.
